Our collection of modern, vintage, and designer pieces are hand-selected by store owner Renee Flanders. Most of our items are pre-owned and others have the original retail tags and have no signs of wear. All of our pieces receive a thorough inspection for quality assurance before being placed into one of our curated collections. We love accepting items that are in excellent condition, but we know some of the best pieces have typical signs of wear. We indicate, in the product descriptions, what specifically is worth noting when there are visible signs of wear. Please contact us if you are interested in an item and would like more information!

This item is pre-owned but well taken care of. We have found minor signs of natural wear that are typical with consignment. Imperfections are mentioned within the inspection description. May include but not limited to signs of laundering/dry cleaning.
This item is pre-owned with several imperfections and/or signs of wear. Flaws will be noted in the inspection description and may included but are not limited to, signs of abrasion, pilling, and tears on seams. Imperfections are most likely repairable or repairs have already been made to the item. This item is still wearable and treatment is at the discretion of the new owner.
This indicates that the item is a vintage collectible circa twenty years or prior. The new owner understands that distressing, if any, is characteristic to the natural use and materials of the item over time. This item is still in good condition for an item from a previous era. Any specific flaws will be noted in the inspection description.
Any of our items marked with “As Is” in the condition description has been determined, by the store owner, to have a market value worthy of a new home. Price adjustments will not be considered. All imperfections will be noted within the inspection description. Items marked “As Is” are final sale and may not be returned or exchanged.
We do not offer in-store pickup.
All orders are processed and shipped by USPS Tuesday through Friday from 11:00 am – 5:00 pm PST to the delivery address provided, excluding holidays. Please allow 48 business hours for processing and make sure to give all address details, including apartment/suite/building number and company name if applicable. We do not ship to PO boxes unless additional information is provided. You will receive a confirmation email and a tracking number when your order has been placed. An additional email notification will be sent when your order has shipped. Orders that cannot be received for whatever reason will either be re-shipped (at the customer’s expense) or cancelled.
Generation Ave is not responsible for any loss or delays of products following shipment from Generation Ave to the shipping address. Delayed delivery will not give rise to any penalty nor indemnity and cannot be used as a reason for cancelling an order.

Taxes & Additional Fees
Taxes are not included in the sale price and will be added where applicable by law for all orders. Generation Ave is not responsible for any additional taxes or duties. If the recipient refuses the order, the recipient is responsible for additional shipping, fees, duties, and taxes. For more information, please get in touch with your local post office.
Due to the nature of our consignment store, we do not accept returns or exchanges. All sales are final.
Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
To reconcile a damaged or defective product, you can contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
